ikos has been windsurfing since 1983 and being a popular figure, he has turned many co-athletes into good friends of him. Thus, when he built Kastro in 1997, a lot of these friends came to visit. Many others also arrived as clients and eventually got connected to the hotel, his owner and the scenic island of Lefkada. Most people keep touch with him all year round and return every summer, again and again.
